Optomechanical compensators have the advantages of relatively simple structure, low cost and certain vibration resistance. However, since the compensation accuracy decreases with the increase of the compensation range, the compensation range is generally limited to ten minutes. With the modern development of the principle of electronic automatic leveling, the leveling range can be extended to the left and right, with high stability and compensation accuracy.
The electronic leveling system generally consists of sensors, electronic circuits and actuators. The bubble sensor is based on an element similar to a general bubble level, in which a glass bubble is filled with a conductive liquid. The glass tube is coated with a metal cover and forms two symmetrical electrodes. There are two resistances corresponding between the two electrodes. When the bubble is centered, the resistance is equal. When the bubble is tilted, the bubble is displaced, which destroys the equilibrium state of the two resistors, so that the bridge composed of the sensor circuit loses balance and produces the corresponding voltage output. The output signal is amplified by electronic processing and then drives the actuator to make the servo motor produce the corresponding forward or reverse rotation, and maintain the balance of the bridge, which achieves the purpose of electronic automatic leveling.
